Nachos have got to be up there with the best student sharing foods ever or ya know, you can scoff them by yourself too. We don’t judge.
We love a good bowl of those crunchy delights but the usual cheese, salsa, and jalapenos can be a tad boring, especially if you are making them for a big group of people.

– Wild Mushroom & Gryère Cheese
Fry around 5 cups of sliced mushrooms in butter and garlic until they start to go golden.
Add a pinch of salt and pepper, 1 tablespoon of chives, 1/4 cup of white wine and 1/4 cup of cream.
Simmer until reduced.
Spoon the mixture over your nachos of choice, sprinkle over Gryère cheese and bake until melted.

– Cheeseburger Nachos
Fry off 1/4 pound of mince with finely chopped onions. Drain away any juices and add 1/2 teaspoon of paprika. Fry for a couple of minutes until the meat and onions are cooked through.
Top the nachos with the meat mixture and grated cheddar cheese and bake until the cheese has melted.
Top with finely sliced red onion, sliced pickles, shredded lettuce and ketchup.
– Pulled BBQ Jackfruit Nachos (vegan)
This recipe is made by layering BBQ Jackfruit, black beans, chopped tomatoes, spring onions, jalapenos and cashew cheese sauce onto your nachos of choice.
Baked them topped with avocado and fresh herbs.
– Breakfast Nachos
Top your nachos with grated cheddar, crumbled crispy bacon, beans and crack however many eggs you would like on top and bake until the whites have set. Usually around 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and top with sliced spring onion and salsa.
