Having a supermarket within walking distance – or a short bus ride – will be a necessity for most students, especially as this will most likely be the first time you will be grocery shopping by yourself. However, you may also want to consider ease of access to more sociable places, like pubs, clubs, and sporting venues.

Part of the appeal in living in student halls is the social scene.
