2026/27 Resident Benefits Overview
East Shore Student Accommodation will be managed in partnership with SPACE for the 2026/27 academic year. Residents will continue to benefit from the existing East Shore services and amenities, alongside a range of additional benefits and access to selected SPACE facilities and services.

Additional Benefits Through SPACE Partnership
Access to SPACE Facilities
East Shore residents will receive access to selected amenities at the SPACE development on Kilrymont Road, including:
- Gym facilities
- Indoor sports hall
- Ground floor co-working and study lounge
- The Social café, dining and entertainment venue
- SPACE convenience store
Please note that access is limited to selected shared amenities and does not include access to residential accommodation blocks.
24/7 Support
Residents will benefit from the wider SPACE operational team, with staff available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support residents and respond to emergencies.
Weekly Community Kitchen Sparkle Cleans
All shared apartment kitchens/community spaces will receive a weekly sparkle clean to support cleanliness and enhance the resident living experience.
SPACE Shuttle Service
Residents will have access to the SPACE Shuttle, a courtesy term-time shuttle bus service connecting:
- East Shore
- University campus locations
- University library
- SPACE Kilrymont Road development
The shuttle is designed to improve connectivity between the beachfront location and key student destinations.
